Lordy. Got a call from VFW Mark at about 3pm saying it was windy at Pevensey. Raced down, rigged 5.7m and whizzed out. Couple of ok runs on a fairly big sea before it dropped quite a bit. braved it once more, but it was pretty marginal by then. Still, I got a fix and it was quite sunny too.

Gutted tells me it\'s 5.7m weather so i\'m rushing over to meet up with him, VFW Mark, as well as Morris & another Mark who were already there. Meanwhile PaulP is texting / phoning me to tell me it\'s windy .... so i get to the Bay to find the motley crew stood about chatting on the beach with 5.7m-6.2m rigs being a little small.

My Manta is dead (for now), so biggest board in the van is the 3S97 so rigged the 6.4m Remedy and went for it ... sea would have been cracking fun with 2-3 knots more wind as some of the ramps were nice and steep for BIG AIR ... planed a couple of times on way out so got next to bugger all air before deciding i\'d gone far enough searching for wind on the outside ... opted to surf a bit on the way back but wind was dropping all the time so couldn\'t be arsed to bog back out and canned it ...

gutted\'s still gutted, i was just too bloody late
